Established in 1986, Los Angeles Engineering, Inc. is licensed for general engineering construction in California with specialty licenses in electrical and hazardous waste. Primarily performing in the public works arena, we have completed hundreds of projects with various agencies including the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, Army Corps. of Engineers, State of California Department of Transportation, Orange County Construction Division, San Bernardino Flood Control, Los Angeles County Sanitation, and numerous cities and municipalities throughout Southern California. Our construction projects are as varied as “General Engineering Construction” implies. Including site development, landscape, irrigation, water features, park work, sports fields, demolition, grading, sidewalk, curb, gutter, specialty finishes, shotcrete, retaining walls, roadwork, storm drain, sewer, water, dry utilities, flood control, channels, basins and bridge construction. We are a labor and equipment oriented contractor. We take pride in our resources and consider them our most valued asset. As our references reflect, we possess a broad range of knowledge. With over 100 years of combined construction experience, we have structured ourselves to be able to produce both turnkey and specialty construction projects. Each contract is individually analyzed and produced utilizing our “three tier structure”, which incorporates designated field supervisors, project managers, and our central resource dispatching team. Los Angeles Engineering, Inc. is also dedicated to providing a safe working environment. In an effort to maintain the highest level of protection for our personnel, and to comply with Cal OSHA’s Division of Industrial Safety Requirements, all employees are required to participate in our “Injury and Illness Prevention Safety Program”. Each employee’s training includes Personal Protective Equipment, Identifying, Evaluating and Abating Hazards, and Emergency Preparedness. This training is reinforced through daily safety checks as well as weekly “Tailgate” meetings. We have always successfully welcomed new challenges and as a result, our company has grown immensely. We have effectively fulfilled specific Agency requirements while conforming to the strictest government standards.
